We have all experienced it : we work much better when we are happy.

Nowadays, the working environment submits employees to more and more pressure, tighter deadlines, results-only-oriented goals, demanding management. Driven by the desire to succeed and comply with the firms’ needs, employees give their best to the task at hand. Mostly, this pressure to deliver helps them become more successfully engaged.

Sometimes, however, management changes, strategic evolution, reorganization can occur that might create difficulties for the employees :

  • Misunderstanding of the evolution,
  • Disengagement,
  • Resistance to change,
  • Drop in work performance,
  • Lack of creativity,
  • Absenteeism,
  • Stress and suffering.

In such situations, it is in the firm and the employees’ interest to try to find a way out of the difficulties.

What I offer :

  • A third-party evaluation of the situation and its difficulties,
  • Individual and groupal care,
  • Recommendation for measures to be taken in order to prevent suffering from occurring again.

Organisation :

My work in the corporate world or in institutions starts with two to three meetings with the mission proxies, mostly HR department representatives in order to understand what is expected.

  • Signature of a mission order with a detailed description of expectations and means put in place,
  • Signature of an NDA,
  • Introduction of the mission to the team : I come on site to present how, when and why I have been appointed with emphasis on the confidentiality of the coming meetings : personal information, emotionally charged information will not be disclosed,
  • Observation period of the team, for one or more days in order to witness the difficulties and problems, and identify the most sensitive issues,
  • Individual and group consultations organised over a few weeks : the idea is to offer each person the setting he or she will feel the most comfortable with, in order to share the difficulties,
  • Presentation of a report to the mission proxies, to put in place the best solutions to the problem : targeted trainings, steps to be taken to reduce stress in the workplace.

What are the benefits :

In a world more and more focused on appearances, it has become increasingly difficult to talk about emotions and feelings. It remains, however, the best way to address difficulties and to feel better. Scheduling the first appointment is a courageous step, sometimes difficult to take. Look at it as the surest way to feel better, the entrance to a path towards well-being.
