I believe that truly “dysfunctional” individuals are rare.
More often, it is relationships that become strained—
our relationship with ourselves, with others, and with the world.
We all do the best we can with the resources, personal histories, and strategies available to us at a given time.
Suffering tends to emerge when these ways of relating become rigid, unbalanced, or no longer aligned with present reality.
My work is grounded in a deeply relational approach:
exploring the stories we tell ourselves,
understanding the adaptations we have developed,
and restoring a sense of choice where there once felt like none.
The Stories We Tell Ourselves
The narratives we construct give meaning to our experiences—
yet they can also become limiting.
“I was able to question long-held beliefs about myself that had been holding me back for years.”
— Sophie
The Strategies We Develop
What once helped us cope can, over time, become a source of exhaustion or blockage.
“What I was doing to feel okay was actually exhausting me. This work helped me understand why.”
— Pierre
Regaining a Sense of Choice
Therapy restores flexibility and opens new possibilities.
“I haven’t changed who I am, but I feel freer in my choices and in how I approach situations.”
— Denise
